Matthew comes with over 10 years experience in some of the top UK kitchens. He trained at River Cafe and then honed his skills working for Heathcotes Restaurant where he was awarded a Michelin star.
“I am really excited to join the team at the Moonraker. I use the hotel’s kitchen garden to grow as much as possible and we will soon have free range chicken and rare breed pigs in the paddock. I offer what I call farmhouse dining, using local ingredients to showcase some old fashioned classics. We have built a smokery in the hotel grounds and we now make our very own Moonraker Smoked Salmon.”
